We will be discussing recent accessibility initiatives and future plans for your community centre.

Join the board and help shape the future of the STCC! The volunteer board meets once a month and is responsible for overseeing and managing operations of the centre's programming and community events. We are looking for committed individuals who can spend some extra time in their busy lives to help their community. Never volunteered before? No problem! There are plenty of resources to help you in your volunteer board position from current board members and the General Council of Winnipeg Community Centres.

Not able to commit to being a board member but still want to volunteer? Let a board member know you would like to volunteer at community events and other causes and you'll be placed on our volunteer list.

The following board positions are up for election at the AGM:

2 year term:

• President
• Secretary

1 year term:

• Newsletter & Communication
• Maintenance
• Special Events
• Sports Convener
• Hall Rental Coordinator

Registering to the AGM is not necessary and is only requested so we can properly determine the amount of seating required.
