The Pickleball courts are now available!

 

STCC now has 3 outdoor Pickleball courts! Located on the rink, available for use from Spring through Fall.

Nets are Set Up and available on:

• Wednesdays, 5:30PM to 8:00PM

• Sundays, 9:00AM to 12:00PM

COMING SOON! STCC has the following Pickleball equipment available for recreational use:

• 3 regulations size Pickleball nets,

• 4 paddles per court,

• Outdoor-use balls.

Information on how to reserve this equipment will be available once the facility reopens this fall.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a paddle ball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net.

The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. -Wikipedia
